Money may make the world go round, but it’s electricity and batteries that help power it.
Batteries are much more than cylinders of life; they hold within them a fascinating history that’s full of amazing facts and did-you-knows.
For example, the biggest threat to the functional health of batteries is extreme temperatures. Their optimal performance is best reached between 20-30 degrees C., and, to the surprise of many, is greatly damaged by both extreme hot and cold temperatures.
When batteries are exposed to higher temperatures, though, they have to work much harder than usual to get the juices flowing. Afterall, batteries are electrochemical devices that are busy converting chemical energy into electrical energy. Should these chemicals become damaged, you can say bye bye to their power.
